Superquinn Internet Shopping

The sad day when I went to do a shop and found our Superquinn had been taken over. The new owners have changed everything about the store and after using it for the pass 15 year wasn’t a good feeling. I’m sorry to say I’ve not been back over since that day but did here they work hard to staff all the staffs jobs which is great thing.

Now that Superquinn’s revamped onling shopping site is up and humming, how does the service compare?
The pluses: the site is incredibly easy to navigate with a brilliant flash menu, detailed coverage map and updating available delivery /​collection time.
Superquinn works hard to stock as much Irish produce /​products as possible, not an entirely new concept but much appreciated.
The frustration:
Orders I’ve submitted can’t be counted on for full freshness (sprouting garlic, mouldy peppers) 100% accuracy, or savings on par with similar home-​delivery services from competing grocery stores in Dublin.
Dealing with customer service can be harrowing; on-​duty managers run the gamut from incredibly helpful (a follow up phone call, an apology and a second delivery replacing all the spoiled food at no cost) to mediocre to tip-​it-​out-​the-​window frustrating.
The outcome:
The service is hardly in its infancy but frankly has a lot of growing to do before it earns another star from me.
