Local, tasty, affordable and with a great craft beer menu. Farm-to-Fork in Ireland. I stumbled into Coqbull by chance on a business trip to Ireland last month and was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a traditional Irish meal of stew and a Guinness but I decided this place looked good. Wow! I was amazed with this place. The amount of microbrews on the menu is stunning. I appreciate a Guinness but why not try some of Ireland’s microbrews? I had Trouble Brewing’s Sabotage IPA and it was hoppy with a nice toasted barley flavor. Highly enjoyable. Then I ordered the Supreme Bull burger(comes with crispy onions and bone marrow) with fries and a side of the smoked garlic aioli. Bun, produce, meat and sauces were all stellar. And I definitely appreciate farm-to-fork philosophy behind this place. According to the menu, all the meat is «100% traceable from local Irish beef.» Very nice experience.
