A beautiful restaurant, with some of the most exotic tableware I’ve ever seen. The menu has choices of Chinese, Indian and Thai, and while it’s nice to have a range to choose from, I often worry that having such a diverse range of foods means that the chef doesn’t really do any of them well. And so it proved. My starter, the seekh kebab was absolutely lovely, but my channa masala was really bland. The garlic naan was burnt and flavourless. Top marks for décor and atmosphere… meh for food quality.

For some reason the Irish don’t really seem to do good Indian restaurants.
This is gradually changing with places like Copper and Spice titillating the taste buds. I went for the vegetarian thali here and didn’t regret it.
I have eaten meat dishes in their sister restaurant in Annacotty and they are just as good. Worth a try if you fancy something spicy in Limerick.
