Baker Place is a well known spot in Limerick that is always good for a night out. Mates of mine who go to college at UL claim this spot as their own local. Every time I am in Limerick for a night out we end up here sooner or later. The atmosphere is very casual and there is always a good selection of music playing. You can always find local bands or DJs here playing rock/​metal/​alternative tunes, which is refreshing for those of us who don’t get into the standard stuff you hear on the radio these days.
