Nick’s Restaurant specialises in the finest freshest seafood sourced locally, there is even a tank with live lobsters you can hand pick from. Nick cooks simple and traditional luxury fare with dishes including Lobster & Prawn Thermidor, Symphony of Seafood and Shellfish Mornay and Salmon & Prawns in Champagne sauce. You can enjoy your meal in an ambient setting with a live piano player adding to your enjoyment of the meal. There is also a balanced wine list with a range for even the most discerning of palates.
History
Established in 1978.
Nick has been head chef since we opened in 1978 to this present day. He is a self trained chef who got his love of cooking from his late mother Margaret and his sister Carol who continues to run Foleys Restaurant in Killarney. His cooking is simple and his motto is «if produce is of the finest why ruin it with strong sauces that spoil the flavour». Nick specialises in the freshest seasonal fish and locally sourced meat. He buys fish straight from boats and fish auctions in Kerry and Cork.
