A firm of Chartered Accountants and Xero Certified Advisors. Our firms philosophy is to focus on our clients business… not just their tax return. We do this by using cloud accounting systems to connect with our clients in real time and offer sound business advice when it is needed, not just at year-​end when it is often too late. We have a team of six people in our offices in the centre of Killarney but our clients come from all over Ireland, overseas and as far away as New Zealand! We also have special support packages for new business start-​ups.

History

Established in 1989.

The practice was founded by John O’Rourke in 1989 and has grown steadily over the years. Having worked in KPMG for a number of years, John’s son Seán joined the firm as partner in 2007. In 2011 Seán O’Rourke became the Managing Partner of the firm.

Trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, qualifying in 2004. I am the managing partner of O’Rourke & Co, a modern and technology-​driven firm of Chartered Accountants that was founded by my father in 1989… I like to think of myself as a true Next Generation Chartered Accountant as a result.
