History

Established in 2006.

Jason Stewart created Restore-​ur-​Floor to fill a gap in the market for a skilled wood machinist with extensive knowledge of hardwood flooring, to offer a Guaranteed Dust Free Hardwood Floor Sanding & Sealing Service to premises of all shapes, forms and sizes. It was intended that the business be locally and independently owned for the good of it’s customers and I am proud to say that the business continues to trade this way.

Business Owner

I started my career training as a carpenter and joiner to such an extent that I was invited to, and did do work in the West Indies helping replace roofs on schools that had been damaged in Hurricane Hugo. My experience in timber continued as I became a wood machinist in sawmills and joinery specialists in both the U.K. and Ireland. I then got involved in the sales of timber which evolved into the retail sales of hardwood flooring and then onto the business to business wholesale sales of hardwood flooring.

I then went about merging my technical knowledge and practical skill into creating Restore-​ur-​Floor.
