I live close and so have eaten here a few times, including days that can be messy like Mother’s day and Valentine’s day. They have always had great service and even when it was busy it never felt packed. Great atmosphere and really tasty food. Between everyone who was out for Mother’s day we tried most every dish and everyone left happy and full. They do delicious desserts too. Their Valentine’s was really nice too. Not packed and rushed, but actually a nice and romantic. My only complaints would be able to wifi and the accommodation. The wifi is there, but I’ve never known anyone to be able to connect and mobile signal is poor so you are cut off from the world. Which has it’s pluses when out for dinner! We had friends stay and their reservation was lost, but they got booked into a new room once they arrived so nothing too major. They were only over for a few days and wanted to get out and about early so never got to avail of the breakfast part of their B&B stay as it didn’t start until 10am. I can imagine this would suit a lot of people though. I know I don’t like dragging myself out of bed for breakfast after a hard night out. So over all, I would definitely recommend Hatton’s for lunch or dinner, even on the busy nights(just book in advance). Their B&B rate is very reasonable so it makes any niggles well worth it.

Ate here twice yesterday for lunch and dinner with a game of golf in between. Had the chicken and pesto sandwich for lunch which was fine if not amazing but took 25mins to arrive which was a bit of a let down. Returned for dinner and had the burger, was a little on the small side but lovely. Others had the chicken and the curry which looked excellent and very big portions. It’s a really nice spot with a great outdoor seating area and the service was great so would return. Good value for money to with the burger only € 10 and the sandwich € 6.
