Deer Park Bar

The Deer Park Bar is connected to the Deer Park Hotel that is famous for its golf terrain and spa. Nine miles from Dublin city centre, the bar is the perfect weekend outing. You will need a car to get here as it is not accessible by bus. Adventurous people could walk from Howth village, but personally I think this attraction is more enjoyable by car.
It is best to visit this bar during the day when golfers are teeing off. It’s more interesting to drink your pint outdoors so you can enjoy the picturesque view of green hills and sea.
If you walk away from the hotel bar, you can also see the nearby castle. The castle is not open to the public but you can snoop on the grounds and peer into the window slots where archers once fired arrows.
