With a mile long queue out the door at The Happy Pear, that plan to have lunch there went out of the window(or door…), a stroll through Greystones’ main street brought us to Café Gray. It looked really cozy and warm in there so we happily grabbed the last free table. The menu wasn’t overly exciting or varied, mainly sandwiches and cakes. I needed something warm, so went for the veggie soup. I have to say it was delicious! A hot tea on the side and I was a happy bunny. Service was all smiles and friendliness. I would recommend if you are in need of a simple lunch and warm surroundings.

We really enjoyed this place. The grilled cheese with ham and savory jam was awesome. I found the lemon pound cake a bit over sweet. Coffee was excellent

I went here for lunch yesterday. I was so hungry I had the soup of the day(leek and potato) and a pastrami sandwich. Really delicious soup and sandwich. Best leek and potato soup I’ve ever had. So much so that I went back again today. Yum!
