Ever since I was a kid I always loved the picture on the outside of this pub, it has never changed, one picture is a silhouette of a man playing the fiddle and the other is a series of pints of Guinness with the glass emptying a little but more in every picture, I have just always liked it! Anyway this is a great little pub, like the outside the inside has not changed much in years, it’s a real old Irish pub with three rooms that you could end up in, one is the room with the bar in it, the next is a room with a pool table in it and the last is just a room off the pool table room with a few chairs in it, its all very old school, nothing modern about it and it certainly is not the most luxurious or comfortable of pubs but it has a charm about it that makes you come back again and again. In the summer time you will find that this pub attracts bikers and hippies with long hair, I don’t know what it is that lures them in but they all seem to know that this is the pub for them. Lastly, the burning question… are the loos blue? Yes, yes they are, well the ladies ones are anyway, not fancy, just blue!
