Wow talk about service… as an amateur owner of a fish tank, i’ve found the staff in Maxi Zoo all too willing to help. Last week my filter broke and i had no idea what to do next. They advised me on the best filter for my tank (which wasn’t the expensive one), set it up for me and were only short of coming home with me to place it in the tank! Although i’m sure if i asked… they would have.
Overall the service, value is second to none… this will be my one stop shop for all my fish’s needs!

Can I just say that both of the men in charge of the fish here are absolute diamonds. Real gentleman they know their stuff and are keen to help. If you’re looking at getting fish to keep as pets I recommend going here first.

First visit to Maxi Zoo for anyone used to a regular size local petshop, is… overwhelming. Not as much as the first time you saw your pet but there’s so many things to make your life easier, your pet’s more comfortable and your bank manager happier ! From dogs to cats to reptiles to birds and gold fish needs, they have it covered in a supermarket size & prices. I took it as a sign for me to adopt 2 kittens that it’s only 5 min away from my home !
