History

Established in 1996.

Working in the manufacturing/​robotics business Jeff White saw the contraction of the industry in the mid/​late 1990’s and decided to diversify into the solar industry. He says that «obtaining the rights to the the Energie Thermodynamic Panel in Ireland was one of the best decisions that I made in 35 years of business».

Jeff installed a system into his own home to test. Around the time of his redundancy from his job in the hospitality sector his son, Richard, saw the efficiency and quality of the Energie Thermodynamic system in the house and asked Jeff for a chance to sell the product.

That first install in the Whites home has now grown into over 1,000 installs around Ireland and a team of 9 staff. LVP Renewables now also have a network of distributors around the country

The company has been a finalist in The Green Energy Awards and has been featured on such TV programmes as «About the House» on RTE1, «Ireland Am» on TV3 and «Today» on RTE 1.
