My Second time in this store. The item I wanted was out of stock but the Manager phoned the warehouse, put through my transaction and express couriered the item directly to my door the next day. Brilliant customer service. I would highly recommend. Great News for all us Cork Girls — Hairspray is moving to Patrick Street in Cork in June 2015! Yay!

If you’re into fake hair and fake nails, glitter and other fake-looking accessories, Hairspray is the shop for you. Doesn’t appeal to me at all, but it was quite busy when I popped my head in. Well, maybe not that busy, but the staff at least didn’t have time to say hello. Maybe they saw immediately that I would not buy anything, but a «hello, can I help you?» is still always appreciated. Really cheap-looking stuff for steep prices. That just isn’t my cup of tea.

Now this is a strange shop, hanging on all the walls are bits of hair in lots of different colours, and then you can find stands full of finger nails and eyelashes. Sounds like some shop of horrors doesnt it? This store came to Dundrum at Halloween and I thought it would be gone a week after but no, it’s still there! Who needs fake hair and horrendous nails and the like during the year? This stuff doesnt even look real or in any way classy! I know we have all seen the weird ladies who wear this stuff but should we really be encouraging them? Please tell me you answered no to this question!
