History

Established in 1925.

Granvue Hotel was built in 1925 by a Newry hotel owner. It was originally named The Grand Central Hotel. It was originally a wooden structure and was built on what used to be the football pitch, right beside Omeath train station on the Newry to Greenore Line. The structure was rebuilt from stone and brick circa 1939.

Steven is originally from Omeath Village. He took over as manager of the Granvue Hotel in October 2012. He takes great pride in his work and has created a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the Granvue Hotel and Seaview Restaurant. His previous experiences in the hotel, bar and restaurant industry stand to him and insures the highest standards in quality and service.
