Five stars for what I wanted — a good coffee and pastry to start the morning. Excellent cappuccino, muffin and brownie here. Friendly staff and Gorillaz for music. Worth a stop for your morning take away.

Great café/​restaurant on James’s street, Dublin 8, beside St. James’s Hospital Luas stop. Very few cafes/​eateries in the immediate area so being a hospital employee Yu café is an absolute life saver!
Open from 7am daily, whether for breakfast, lunch or a decent coffee and treat!, Yu café is the place to go if your in the area. Everything is always extremely fresh, well prepared and reasonably priced.
Always quite busy, crowd consisting mainly of hospital employees/​visitors and tourists in the area to visit the Guinness storehouse or Kilmainham jail.
The staff in Yu café are fantastic, always very friendly. Visit more than once and you’ll be on first name terms! Great!
