Wrights Food Store

Auf den ersten Blick wirkte der Wright’s Food Court ganz gut.
Viele Tische mit Stühlen und gemütlichen Sitzbänken.
Es hapert allerdings ganz deutlich am Essen:
Ich bestellte für 14 € eine Gourmet-​Pizza (Hawaii). Die Pizza war absolut nichts für Gourmets. Sie wurde zwar innerhalb von 10 Minuten «frisch» zubereitet, war jedoch optisch schon mangelhaft.
Geschmacklich kann man sie mit «Billigkäse-​Pizza im Hawaiistyle» bezeichnen. Erstmals seit Jahren aß ich eine Pizza nicht auf und hatte anschließend leichte Bauchschmerzen. Sehr unbefriedigend.

Large hot food counter, similar to a big spar. Cheaper than most airport food except boots and wrights sandwich deal. Only catch is they’re the wrong side of security but as the other reviewer pointed out, handy for grabbing essentials on the way home from a holiday.

Genius idea this — a grocery store in the airport car park, allowing you to pick up essentials like tea, milk, bread and sausages for the morning after your two-​week holiday, as you know that everything in the fridge will be ready to grow legs and walk.
Service can be slow as there is a coffee and sandwich bar on the other side of the counter — when I was there, there was one guy trying to serve everyone at once, and let me tell you, he was doing no-​one any favours.
