We are the former staff of the Woollen Mills. Together with hard work and determination we reopened both the retail & wholesale and kept our jobs. This was also made possible with the great loyalty & support from all the ex Woollen Mills customers to whom we are grateful for sticking by us. I went here about a month ago to get material to make a baby blanket for a friend of mine. I’m not a creative person and it was my first task with the machine so I was delighted with the help I got from the girl that worked here. She showed me to the large range of material they had to suit and picked a backing material out for me to match. She went through sizes and how much she thought I might need which was really helpful. If I ever get creative again I’ll head back here.

I’m gonna just up these guys to a four. Feck it, I’m feeling generous.
Just bought some stretchy black fabric that cost € 6/​metre — I have not been able to get fabric at this price since I started sewing, outside of London or all the other bigger cities.
This makes me very happy.
