White Wash Laundry

It should be fairly simple to dry clean a suit but I guess that I am giving White Wash too much credit. My suit came back with more wrinkles in it than a bulldog puppy. Crap job for the highway robbery price of 13 EURO. Never again. Avoid at all costs!

Used the wash and fold here twice while travelling for business. Great service. They use a non-​scented soap, which I like because I’m sensitive to smells. And they even remembered not to dry a few things I asked them to keep aside. I’ll used them every time I’m here so I don’t have to bring as much stuff.

I was very disappointed with the service offered at White Wash Laundry. Having paid up front for my dry cleaning I was provided with a receipt which I handed in upon collection. However when I arrived to pick up my dry cleaning, I was asked to pay again, as there was ‘no record’ of my payment. I had no choice but to pay again (in total having to pay 32 euro) to get my dress back. The only reason I accepted this was that I was in a rush and needed the dress for an upcoming wedding.
The woman I spoke with was completely unsympathetic, curt, and stubborn in her attempts to get me to pay again. She blamed another staff member who was ‘out of the country’ (conveniently enough), making somewhat derisory comments about her place of origin, and told me to look ‘at home for another receipt, love’, and if I found that, then I could come back and get a refund. Given that I was not provided with a receipt (other than the one I handed in upon entry), it is unlikely I was going to magically conjure up one at home.
I felt that this staff member opted to make a small bit of money in the short term, despite running the risk of losing a local paying customer in the long term. Although the item itself was fine, given the staff member’s lack of business savy, coupled with a cheap dogged determination to make a quick few quid — as a matter of principle I will not be returning to White Wash.

Was not going to review, but after a ruined dress and subsequent waffle blaming manufacture I returned to collect it. The guy who cleans items forgot to bring the dress back to the shop. Bad memory is all the apology I got. Hopefully they haven’t ruined the dress further. Joke.

I went to Whitewash laundry for the first time this past weekend. Some clothes were starting to pile up as it takes so long to dry clothes in the winter! It was the first time I really used a laundry service and really thought it was great.
You can drop off a big bag of laundry on one day and pick it up washed, dried and folded for you. They charge you by the weight and drop off and pick up is quick and easy too. Prices are good as well for the service provided.
It is so convenient, I may think twice next time I need to do laundry and send it here instead.

Good convenient venue, hours are great. Take laundry in the morning and will get it back to you same day after 4pm.

Would definitely recommend as a handy local laundry/​dry cleaning place.
Took a huge bag of clothes in Monday night, got it back on Tuesday afternoon washed and folded for € 12.20.

Since my usual cleaners in sandyfors went bust I have been on the lookout for somewhere I’m happy with, Wifey suggested I try this place since it is close to home and had a good rep.
it’s great, the staff are hugely helpful and they have a clubcard-​esque system where you get ten euro off for every 100 spent — its up tp you to keep an eye on your total, the girl in the shop showed me a box with about 500 unclaimed vouchers, so apparently it’s easy to forget!

The Good
~They charge you by weight of your laundry (except for sweaters — which are charged individually). So if you bring in a suitcase of dirty laundry, you take all your laundry out of the suitcase, and they weigh it and that is what you are charged.
~They are open 7 days a week!
~They fold all the laundry.
What could be better
~The detergent they use, gets the clothes clean, but isn’t very fragrant.
