Founded by the wonderful Noelle Campbell Sharp the aim is to showcase lesser known emerging artists who in many cases are undertaking their first solo shows in Dublin. «Urban Gallery seeks to create a dialogue between the established and the experimental» The gallery provides a forum for contemporary art, presenting work by largely unseen young artists or by established international artists whose work has been rarely or never exhibited in Ireland.

This gallery has been open since 2006. It’s mission is to showcase lesser known artists who are for the most part making their debut on the Dublin scene. The art ranges from the experimental to the more accessible. They have rotating range of artwork and are in close relations with the Dockland Authority so as to contribute to the resurgence culturally of the area. Worth the visit, especially since it’s location lends itself to lots of eateries and public spaces to relax on.
