Was told about this place by a friend, so I decided to try it. Had my nails & hair done. The nails were absolutely perfect. I loved the girl, she was very nice and did a perfect(and quick) job. Was a little concerned about the hair at first, because I wasn’t sure the guy understood what I wanted. He works in a speedy fashion(which is great) and got what I wanted perfectly. The blow-drying was perfect as well. The only thing I didn’t like about the haircut was the washing, as my hair got really dry after(probably because of the type of shampoo they used on me). Other than that I was perfectly happy with the service and the price. € 25 for a good wash, cut & blow-dry in dublin? That sounds pretty good to me. Also € 15 for Shellac nails is quite awesome as well. I’m definitely coming back to this place.

Cannot speak for the ladies, but I came here with a friend for a quick haircut and was quite impressed with the cut! They’re very affordable — I got a dry cut at € 8 and for a couple more euros, they also wash your hair and blow dry it for you.

I am really torn between a 3 and a 4 star review. I went here after I read Catarina L.‘s review and had a pretty good idea what to expect. The shop window advertises Shellac for 15Euro. I enquire about a mani and Shellac combo and they quote me 25Euro. Fine, let’s do it. A lady leads me upstairs, I take a seat and she starts filing my nails. From the selection of colours and bottles on display I quickly realise what they offer is not Shellac but some other gel polish that does the same job. Basically, you don’t know what brand they are, whether they’ve been tested on animals or approved to be safe to use at all or whether they cause allergic reactions. Those could contain puppy tears and human skin for all I know as I have no clue what’s in them. At this stage, the girl who hasn’t spoken to me at all shouts downstairs and another girl comes up. They chat for a bit, then swap seats, not a word to me from either girl and girl number 2 starts applying the unidentified polish. She does so perfectly. I really like the result but do feel very conscious of the false advertisement. To sum it up: a superb job on the manicure and application of polish and really good value for money IF you don’t care where products come from or what’s in them.

This is one of the many asian salons on Capel Street, and I first went in here because they offered reasonable prices for waxing and the place didn’t look too busy — I was in a bit of a hurry. I was very pleased with the attention to detail and cleanliness so I eventually came back. Soon after I noticed their € 15 shellac nails promotion(seems to be permanent now, € 25 if you need to remove shellac you had done somewhere else), and I’m glad I tried them! Some of the staff can be more chatty than others, but they know what they’re doing and they get you everything you want — unless that’s a brazilian wax, as they don’t go further than bikini lines here. Downstairs they have the hairdresser and upstairs they offer their other beauty services. I keep returning for their shellac manicure, one of the girls especially is absolutely brilliant and does a perfect job. And at that price, it feels like a bargain every time. Overall, a really good and competent neighbourhood beauty parlour :)
