Established in 2011.

I became a therapist because I love helping people. I’m big into self help and self discovery and I wanted to use my skills and combine them with approaches that are proven to work in making people feel better. I overcame my own personal difficulties as I had multiple miscarriages and I had a daughter that was still born in 2006. I know what it is like to feel stuck and not know what to do. I also know what it is like to overcome that stuckness in a way that is respectful to my values. I can tell you there is nothing like it! So I opened Tranquillity accidentally enough on the anniversary of my daughter. To me it is my legacy in honour of her that I did this: I had the courage to live my life because she never got to live hers. So that’s where this venture was born. The desire was always there to do it but after my own loss and knowing just how painful it can feel– I decided to share my way forward with those who are similar minded and are looking for someone like me to help them.

Martha is married with 4 children. After a long journey to have her family she has balanced work life stress at times tremendously well and not so well at other times in the past! She utilised her education from therapies she studied to design her very own programme on overcoming stress.

Martha is very proud to see her approach help so many clients in personal and professional capacities. Martha studied in Trinity College Dublin and graduated from this college 4 times earning her the following qualifications:

PG Dip in Cognitive Psychotherapy (CBT)

Cert in Cognitive Psychotherapy

BNS (Hons) Psychiatric Nursing

Dip in Psychiatric Nursing (RPN)

She also trained in Mindfulness in Bangor University Wales (MBSR)

And in Life Coaching
