The best Tk Maxx in Ireland … And yes I’ve tried them all. It is actually the flag ship for ireland so is the largest of their stores and is spread over two large floors. I have a little problem when it comes to TK Maxx — I could literally spend half a day here. I love their homeware section in Balnchardstown it is really big and very well spaced out unlike so many of their stores. They really have everything under one roof in this branch so if you are a bargain hunter I would highly recommend it — the kids section is also very large. Don’t be put off if you’ve been to some of the smaller ones where there is stuff everywhere. Also there is very rarely a Q to pay or for the changing rooms so it really is a nice shopping experience. It is located in one of the little retail parks just off to the side of the shopping centre.

This TK Maxx is one of the better ones I’ve been to. Two floors, a lot of selection. A little less chaotic than the branch in the Stephen’s Green, you still have to check carefully the item stored there before you find your favourite outfit. This TK Maxx, is conveniently also located within Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, offering lots of parking and close by to countless other shops to make your day of shopping complete. I personally think that TK Maxx is a bit a mess. The better moment is to go at the opening hours so you can understand what you like or not, as the article have an order. Otherwise, good luck as you need to be patiance to find what you are looking fore. However, we went there couple of times, and my husband found few good item and he is still happy about the purchase as he found what he was looking for. Similarly there could also be a nice surprise in the home and kitchen department, which are always good for bits and bobs around the house. I like to fave a look there. If you see something cool, get it, it will be gone as you leave the store. it is rare but you might be lucky and why miss the chance to get a good deal for a good price? I didn’t have a look at the women area so I cannot give you a feedback on that part. I don’t shop often there, as for me it is but messy. I’m sure that store isn’t responsible as the people sometimes doesn’t care or doesn’t have manners. About the customer service, they should manage the good better as you are paying for them and also they should remove the fault ones from the store. I remember that we saw a shirt and it was damaged badly, we put on the top to show that the item was faulty, we went there few week later, the item was still available for being bought. Nice, isn’t it ;-)

This TK Maxx is one of the better ones I’ve been to. Two floors, a lot of selection. I visited Stephen Green shopping centre TK Maxx and found little selection of footwear, but not in Blanchardstown. Even cue was very big, it melted like snow in the late spring! Didn’t got bored while waiting at all. Go there.

If you think the branch in St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre is chaotic you really ain’t seen nothing until you walk into this utterly frenzied burrow of clothes. For one, the floor space within this branch is significantly bigger but on professional grounds that shouldn’t then license utter pandemonium to ensue. What I genuinely detest no matter where I see it occur is clothes being strewn all over the floor. This is the case, in abundance here. I thought I was forced into carrying out some rummaging in St. Stephen’s Green but here in Blanchardstown the term ‘excavate’ is more appropriate for the unpretty task at hand. This place is ‘disorder’ personified so why aren’t I choosing to immediately get the hell out of my idea of bedlam? The phrase ‘you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your princess outfit’ couldn’t be more applicable within this store. The endless racks of clothes possess no order whatsoever. The only systemization in place is that which sees the female clothes separated from the male, but that is it. Outside of this elemental help courtesy of TK Maxx sorting out the clothes according to gender, you’re on your own. Trousers can be found on the same rack as rugby shirts, prom dresses beside cycling shorts, cotton blouses next to pencil skirts, shell suit jackets alongside leggings — this really is an erratic collection displaying all sorts of attire — and ‘erratic’ not just in reference to the way they are put on show but also in accordance with the means by which the shop tries to represent every subdivision of clothing possible. TK Maxx refuses to accept Women’s casual and formal wear, Men’s casual and formal wear, Children’s casual and formal wear, accessories, shoes and cosmetics to be enough and hence strives to stock clothes with a more particular function. TK Maxx’s collection of outdoor clothing is not one to be sneered at. Leave any prejudice at the door because this store’s astonishingly good outdoor/activity clothing collection will impress the most practiced of al fresco thrill seekers. Such renowned brands as O’Neills, Quicksilver, Karbon Hera and Trespass are stocked here in abundance. If you are planning on going skiing for example then I would highly recommend you venture here to pick up excellent quality gear for up to 45% off what you would pay in more expensive outlets such as Blacks. However, because there is no structure in place — no classification nor categorization, it can be exhausting having to sift through an array of stuff without any idea as to whether or not you’ll find anything even close to what you’re looking for. At these moments I really miss the more well-organized systems put into practice by most other stores — the type of layout from which you can mostly tell whether something takes your fancy by just merely taking a look around, no physical contact with no the clothes nor enforced rummaging required. It’s easy to see the benefits of these less time-consuming as well as less intimidating layout. You either leave the store after five seconds owing to the intimidation brought about as a result of the sizeable(and some may say too disorderly) assortment of stuff all packed together onto the racks or you’re in there for hours(again on account of there being so much clutter to get through — seen as an endearing challenge for the more dedicated shopper). The clutter can get on my nerves but when you unearth an absolute gem or something for outstanding value that is impossible to pass up all is forgiven, and it is at these special moments that you appreciate all of the unique(if not random) goods TK Maxx has to offer.

A little less chaotic than the branch in the Stephen’s Green, you still have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your princess outfit. TK Maxx boasts 45 percent off regular prices, but often the clothes on offer seem to be those that the designer was having a bit of a practice with. I personally like the bric-à-brac section, where you can find great one-off Christmas presents, coffee table books and foreign biscuits.

This TK Maxx, is conveniently located within Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, offering lots of parking and close by to countless other shops to make your day of shopping complete. I have heard of Tk Maxx being criticised for it being less like a fashion shop and more like a jumble sale where everything is thrown about. However, personally i find if you go to the rails with your size, what you’re looking for — more than likely you will find something similar to what TK Maxx promise: «Big Brand labels at small prices». Similarly there could also be a nice surprise in the shoe department. The Home department is also always good for bits and bobs around the house.
