Pretty standard — I needed a few watch batteries replaced, dropped in about 15 minutes before closing and left the watches with them for pickup the next day. Price was 10 euro for the cheap one and 15 for the really expensive one which was nice given I expected it would have been much more.
Other than that not much to say — they were indeed ready the next day when I went to pick them up and the job was done. Location was super convenient, obviously, as it’s in the middle of the mall and one can hit several stops at once!
From what I hear it’s a bad idea to get keys cut here but the shoe cleaning and watch repair tends to be good. Take that with a grain of salt (and other reviews) anyway as I can only vouch for the battery changes!

Went to get a key cut today. Terrible job! Key doesn’t fit and to be honest, if you look at the key closely, you can see how sloppy the job was. Avoid if possible!

Been here on two occasions to have keys cut, and both times the keys didn’t fit the lock, leaving me with the inconvenience of borrowing my housemates (we both work drastically different hours too) keys until I could go in and get them re-​cut. Sloppy work, won’t be back.

This is super handy shop. You may get a lot of things done in here. Need insoles? Got it. Need keys cut? Done. Need something engraved? Just say the phrase. Need to repair you watch? Cheapest shop you can find in city centre.
I was looking for 377 watch battery, which costs € 1 on eBay. All other shops were asking € 10 for a tiny 377 type of battery for my old simple watch that 15 years ago cost me € 22. This is insane!
Anyway, went through several shops in city centre until I found this helpful simple shop. They sold me battery for € 5 without bargaining. I’d say could paid maybe € 3 – 4, but that’s fine. They have to to living as well, don’t they?
As I said, pop in there, if you need anything small done. They do more stuff that I written.

This review is for key duplication.
Had two keys copied. One of the keys that was made fits very poorly in the lock. Also, at 8 and 6 euros for the different copies it seemed pretty expensive.
Upsides: conveniently located in Stephen’s Green, 10% student discount.

The best shoe repair job I ever got. Without charging any extra, they fixed my heels a bit and put a bit of glue elsewhere when I only paid for new soles at the same cost as most places in Dublin. You can also do key cuts, brand new heels (they have several models in stock) and restich. Quite fast turn around as well.

I’m very happy that I found this small multi-​purpose shop in the Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. While primarily known as a shoe repair/​cobbler, Timpson also engraves jewelry and knives, cuts keys, sells signage, and repairs watches. They even sell an assortment of random items like zippo lighters.
I’m giving them 4 stars for the great job they did engraving my knives. For about 5 euro each, I had ½ dozen knives perfectly engraved in a nice scripture (you can pick from a large assortment of fonts). Major points for doing the engraving while I waited (took less than 20 minutes). I researched a few jewelers and they all wanted 1 to 2 days to do the same type engraving.
