Loved their menu, so many options. I opted for the traditional Irish breakfast and had no regrets. They have some healthier options, like vegetarian dishes.

Village bistro is a nice breakfast — lunch option in Terenure. Have only had breakfast. Today I ordered the eggs Benedict. Do Not Order it here. Go to Mayfield for that. I sent it back & got plain pancakes. My husband loves the breakfast panini. Their skinny fries are perfectly cooked. The staff is nice & accomodating. Good strong coffee served here. Good value for a no frills kind of place.

Very nice choice for breakfast, good menu selection of classics along with a few of their own design. Will have to try their baked goods next time. Loved their skinny fries, they were cooked just right for me, crunchy outside without being over cooked. Good service and food.

This place aint bad… i wouldnt say it is the best place to eat and drink a coffee in the world and not the cheapest but it is certainly an option. It has a nice individuality about it and its location and layout is unique… the long deep inside isnt too uncomfortable and you can get used to it quite quick and it can usually result in a nice comfy feel too… which is what you always want in these places.

It seems if your a lady who lunches, a yummy or not so yummy mummy or a SUG(smug unemployed guy) theres plenty of places to while the hours away with a cup of joe, especially in Terenure. While not as rough around the edges as Café conco, or flashy as brambles the village bistro is nice spot all the same. The place is small and narrow but not uncomfortably so. The do usual café kinda stuff, sambos, pannani’s(what did we eat before they were around) very nice coffee, lovely deserts as much as the omnipresent full Irish breakfast for about € 9 with a veggie option too. I was pretty impressed with the friendly staff, especially after she gave me a free scone, it was tiny but nice all the same. The only bad thing about the Village Bistro is it’s only open until 5. Ideal of lunch and breakfast.
