It’s not my idea of a fun day, morning, afternoon or even «5 mins, I promise».
Retail therapy does not sooth my soul.
But as far as necessary evils go, The Park is not the worst, there are at least, plenty of opportunities to ease the pain with coffee (Costa) or deep fried loveliness (MacDs, KFC etc…).
There is everything here from Halfords; PC world and Smyths to TK Maxx, it is pretty much a one stop destination for everything except groceries.

This retail park is a little off the beaten track by itself so it’s not such an easy location to get to unless you have a car. There are always crowds here using the retail park but for me it lacks variety, there is a currys, next homeware, 53 Degrees North, Halfords, Smyths, TK Maxx, Harvey Normans, Petshop, Heatons and a few others, I would describe it more as a designation when you’re looking for something particular as opposed to a browse where you could to be inspired :-)
They have extended it further with a mc donalds and kfc drive thru and a power city has opened up recently so it’s clearly bringing business in for me highlight is a crepes and coffee stall that can be found at Halfords area.

This is a great spot for shopping if you are down around this area. I luckily live two minutes away and I am always happy to pop over and do a bit of shopping because they have pretty much everything you will need. Between PC World, TKMax, Smyths, and Woodies there is not much more I have ever needed to purchase that I wasn’t able to find at one of those places.

A pretty big new development just off the m50 in south Dublin, Carrick mines retail park is exactly like any other retail park in the country… its scary… but it has a bunch of stores and shops with anything and everything you could possibly need at great prices!
Lots of parking and its layed out in such a way that you can choose which side to park on… its well serviced and barely ever has any traffic into it.
great stuff… be ready to feel a little overwhelmed though… this is shopping for those who are out to buy big.
