I don’t know how many times I’ve admired the creations on the steps of The Powerscourt Town Centre or breathed in deeply as I passed through the shop yo smell their fresh bouquets. It was great to actually stop and take it all in on Unilocal #DublinDesignNight and not just pass through. I even got the opportunity to make my own little terrarium which is now sitting proudly in my kitchen. The staff were lovely and friendly and you could see they have a passion for all things flowers and plants. A big thumbs up and I look forward to retuning

This is such a cute little shop full of gifts for yourself or your loved ones, and the staff are extremely helpful and very patient. The prices can be a bit on the steeper side, but if you share your budget, the staff can help you stay within it and still leave with some wonderful greenery for your home. There are loads of succulent choices to choose from — give Garden a visit!

I just love this place. It’s so so so so gorgeous. Reminds me of something out of a Hugh Grant movie. Not sure why as I’m not actually a Hugh Grant fan, but it’s that rom com kinda vibe, where you could imagine aul Hugh strolling through and picking up a bunch of haphazard but lovely flowers in his haphazard but likeable kinda way, just before walking head first into the woman of his dreams etc… Anyway. I digress. This place is gorgeous. Have I said that before?! Feck it I’ll say it again. G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. It’s beautifully laid out — the flowers are displayed in such a way that it nearly looks like they’ve just been freshly picked outside and brought in straight away to the shop. It looks like a little meadow in there! The flowers themselves are all really unusual — if you’re looking for some high end blooms that are different to the norm, this is your spot. The only thing I will say is that you will pay a bit of a premium for them. But to be honest, it’s worth it! Lovely.

You know a shop sells some seriously amazing works of flora when you’re a tourist, with nowhere to keep a bouquet of flowers, and you still seriously consider buying one. A 45 euro one at that! Not inexpensive by any stretch of the imagination, but achingly lovely. This is what flower arrangements and flower shops should be.
