This place was awesome because if I needed a syphon or some bottle caps for a homebrew project they were nearby, but now it seems to be closed? I stopped by today (admittedly a bank holiday) and it had the look of a place that might be out of business, but it’s possible I’m mistaken.

Not only does the Bottle Shop sell a great selection of beer, wine, and spirits, they also sell an impressive array of sodas, juices and other soft drinks which is so awesome when you need to buy mixers but don’t want to make another stop in the pissing down rain.
Prices are good, and like I said the selection is fabulous, especially in regards to wine. The owner is a wine expert and as a result, he is a great resource and very, very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff is fantastic too. I walked into another off license down the street and the two people in the shop just stared at me in silence. It was really creepy!
The best part about the Bottle Shop is a tie between the fact that they deliver and that they have a deli counter in the back where you can buy pizza and other food. It truly is a one stop party shop.
