Really cute lunch spot away from the crazy city centre footfall but still right in the middle of town.
Got the Cajun Chicken Energy Salad and I was not disappointed. A lovely helping of hazelnuts, chicken and a the vegetables with just the right amount of dressing. It is great to find somewhere relatively healthy to find a salad lunch without having to go to some super super healthy themed place.
The décor is very cute and ecclectic. The coffee is delish. I have brought loads of pals here for lunch and catch ups and they have all loved it!

Super near my hotel (The Brooks Hotel,) we went here so that husband could get Irish breakfast and me something less meaty. It didn’t disappoint. Husband said it was the best Irish breakfast he had on our trip. I had the Continental with poached eggs and fresh fruit and yogurt, exactly what I was craving that morning. Included in the price of breakfasts was a generous pot of tea. When my husband asked for even more tea, they charged him for a cup. (2.50 I think — a little steep. Ha!)
It was a Wednesday mid-​morning during the xmas holidays, and they weren’t that busy, we were seated in a booth straight away. I’d recommend it if you’re in the neighborhood.

This restaurant decided to close at 1600 on a Saturday, refusing to serve us «the best Reuben in Dublin.» Make plans to visit for a meal only if you have a back up plan. We did not.

Porridge, Irish and Veggie breakfasts done very well… Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.

One of the few places open at 7am on a Saturday, we chose this place as really our only option. Happily it was by far the best choice we could have made. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, big mugs of tea and coffee with fantastic food! We will definitely be back!

What a great little find, tucked away just behind the stephens green shopping centre, this café is perfect for breakfast, lunch, brunch or even just a coffee. The cool interior and funky crockery is great, it adds a slight twist to the norm. The food is good too with very generous portions, I had the burger which came with fries and a super tastey fresh side salad… I pretty much wanted to try everything on the menu so all the more reason to pop back again

You have to go here!!! If I could have rated this any higher I would’ve! My boyfriend and I found this place though Unilocal and decided to try it out because we wanted an authentic full Irish breakfast (Guinness included!) Well the breakfast was full of flavor, and the place was very comfy and inviting.
What made this place so perfect was the service! The girl that sat is down had a beautiful Irish accent and was very sweet, the man (his name is Christopher if you are lucky enough to meet him) was oh so hilarious. We could barely eat our food we laughed so hard! At one point he asked to buy my boyfriend for an hour for 200 euro and let me go shopping it was one of the best choices we made on our trip to Dublin.

Cosy cosy cosy. Great for girls chit-​chat. It’s nice to sit here on a rainy day and see people passing by. Saint Stephents shopping center just next to the corner and I find it’s nice to get here after some shopping, have a cacao with marshmallows and just relax a little bit. They have dark glass, so you feel like you can watch the street without anyone seeing you.

I’d been hearing about this place for a while and everything came together this morning, with a perfect parking spot, a hungry belly and good company.
The left side with the couches and colours was full so we sat in one of the comfortable booths to the right side. It wasn’t too busy and our server was nice and quick to take our order. We got a pot of kitschy tea to share and then went for the organic porridge & fruit, and the French Toast with bacon & maple. They arrived fairly smartly and the presentation of both was just beautiful. For once I remembered to photograph! The bread-​roll style french toast was really interesting and it was done with nice moist rashers, all drenched in maple syrup, of which I could have had a little less but I’m not complaining.
I really like that I was stuffed by the end of the FT, because normally portions are a little scrapy and I’m always hungry for something else by the end. This one I struggled with the last bite!
It was exactly what we needed for a quick, filling breakfast and I’d definitely come back based on that!

Our hotel wifi was terrible so we were looking for a place to start the day where we could check e-​mail, etc. Very friendly service, food was good. We went twice, the first day I had a scone that was just average but the second day I got the french toast and it was amazing. Definitely get the french toast!

Had their buttermilk pancakes here. I must say they are very generous with the bananas and strawberries and syrup. But if you’re looking for a fluffy pancake, this isn’t the place. Their pancakes are thick and dense, which is okay. Personal preference for fluffier pancakes. Nice quirky design with really pretty plates as well. 3 stars because I felt it was slightly pricey. A stack of 3 pancakes for € 7.50. Nice quiet place, nevertheless. Good place to just chill and there’s wifi!

Stopped in for breakfast. They have a breakfast/​brunch menu up until 5pm so that was pretty cool. Had an omelette with cheese and turkey bacon. It wasn’t anything special but it hit the spot. Good service and the place is pretty big.

Amazing food, atmosphere and music. Loved the breakfast and the waitress was very pleasant!

Based on the great reviews, I bought a voucher for a charcuterie OR cheeseboard with wine for 2. I was looking forward to the quirky and colourful interior as shown in the pictures but for some reason we got seated in the other end of the cafè which was horribly plain and was absolutely dead. Like, not a single soul in there apart from us.
The waiter took my voucher and explained we could have the mixed charcuterie and cheeseboard, not either/​or as specified on the voucher. Good thing we aren’t vegetarians so we didn’t mind.
The food and both the white and red house wine was very nice. The service was okay too, but as I said, we were the only ones in there.
To use the restrooms in the adjacent hotel, you need a code which is a letter/​numbers combination, I struggled to remember after 2 glasses of wine.
I think I would have enjoyed it more if we were seated in the nice part of the cafè which would have made the atmosphere a bit nicer.

I’ve read such great reviews about this place that I decided to come and try the it out, especially for the brunch. Unfortunately, the student who was supposed to meet me got lost and I’m sure that, by the time I threw in the towel, brunch was over. Sadness all around.
So the meeting was rescheduled for today and I had lunch instead. As it is Monday, I took advantage of the € 10 Mad Monday Meal and had the lovely vegetable soup with the chicken and avocado sandwich and a drink. Great deal, huh? The soup was lovely and warm and tasty. The sandwich, served on crunch and yummy granary bread, was good and all the right ingredients were there, except seasoning. That’s the only reason I’m taking off the half star. Otherwise, loved the food, the staff were friendly and the armchairs and the lovely tables added a lot to the experience. I’ll defo be back for brunch.

This is just a perfect breakfast spot. Very central really even though it’s quite hidden, tucked behind Stephens Green SC. Their breakfast choices are lovely, a great mix of the traditional and the more quirky choices. Their delph is cute pastel coloured, with a mismatched kinda style. I went for their hotcakes which were amazing, very moreish and reasonable too, priced at € 7.50. My sister’s scrambled egg dish with avocado, spinach etc was yummy too. This is a bit of a gem so look out for it for breakfast or a snack when in Dublin City centre.

Its lovely, it reminds me of ma gramma’s house very cosy. i went there few times. The first time with a friend and we ordered Mushroom creamy soup, sandwich, macchiato, chips, chocolate cake and i tried the carrot with raisins and cinnamon salad. I would say the sandwich had more onion than it should !! and the soup was good but not that much. The chocolate cake was good but i had much better and the salad was too sweet for me.
Their machiato was nice and their cups are cute. I liked the way they presents their food (cutlery). I also bought Rocky road for a friend and he liked it.
Second time, i went for a breakfast and ordered scrambled eggs. It came with big mushrooms and baked beans and side toasts. It was a big breakfast meal and good .
The third and forth time i came for a soup tomato and basil and it was quite good.
Overall, lovely place but they lack selections of desserts. And the service was good the guy who works their was very helpful and friendly. i would go there for an afternoon tea or relax and read magazines and enjoy their coffee.

The Bell and Bot are a homely cute little gem.
Hidden away behind Stephens Green you could very easily «walk on by» without noticing them, but you should, if you want a treat that is! They have gorgeous sandwiches wrapped in a pretty monochrome floral paper. Speaking of floral patterns, the café is coved in flowers and colour giving a really cute homely effect to the overall atmosphere.
Grab yourself a couch and chill out with a tasty coffee. Or as I sampled at the recent Unilocal event «Let Them Eat Cake» they even have cocktails! Delicious cocktails at that might I add…

Very nice breakfast menu, about a tenner with a drink and definitely big enough. We had American style French toast, hooray! We also had the green breakfast which was gorgeous and a bit different. Both plates of food were very filling and would do for lunch as well as breakfast.
Very pleased with this new place and will be back soon to try the rest of the menu.
Also really cool milk jugs that look like origami!

I recently frequented this kitsch place just off Stephen’s green for a 2pm breakfast.
Overall, it was quite good.
Their fry up almost defeated me, such was its size.
3 rashers, 2 sausages, egg, black and white pudding, tomato, mushroom, beans, toast (2 pieces, obviously), a potato farl, and tea or coffee. Intimidating.
The food is of a generally high standard. My breakfast companion went for green eggs, which he recommends.
I dropped a star because of their poor coffee, coffee is a pretty big thing in a café/​diner, but their coffee did not hit the mark.
It’s worth going for a bite, but maybe go for tea at the end instead.
