Once you get by airport security in Dublin Airport, your mind often turns to where you can get a pint. Perhaps this is because taking off the majority of your clothes in a public place and then being patted down is an experience that needs hashing out over a strong drink. The Bailey is a relatively new addition to «The Street» and is trying hard, though not quite hard enough, to conceal the fact that it is an airport bar. The low leather couches are nice; the MFI high stools and silver tables are not. For some reason, the Bailey is pushing whiskey, namely Jameson — the bar is filled from counter to ceiling with bottles of the stuff, while there is a board outside detailing the cocktails that it can make you with it. There weren’t any takers at 10 o’clock one morning recently, apart from two girls gamely supping pints in the window and the barman was cleaning Jamie glasses with increasing desperation.
