Excellent Spar with very helpful staff and a great range of handy food to choose from. Try the sausages from the Deli. They have also upgraded the ready to go sandwiches.

Opens late which is a definite plus for anyone in the long stretch of the SCR between Leonard’s Corner and Camden Street Upper. Great range of stuff altogether, but be careful parking outside and backing onto the SCR when done. Ideal place to get newspapers late Saturday night, or to grab coffee and other necessities if heading off to work early working weekdays.
On the downside, the Sunday morning opening hours in the morning could be earlier, but there’s a good trade in papers, coffee, other necessities all the same. Some of the older staff could do with a course in customer relations, and its best avoided at lunch time during term time as most of Synge Street school try to outdo each other in the Operation Transformation selection process with breakfast roll purchases on a grand scale.
