Having tired from all lunch spots around our office — last friday we took the citybike and braved a storm and cycled up to the CHQ building in IFSC to try something new. Luckily we arrived at 12 on the dot, any time after and you will be queueing for a long time. There are quite a few nice lunch spots here, and we opted for seven wonders. They do plenty of sambos and salads. I went for the chicken, pinenut, pesto salad, and for 5.75 a quite generous serving came out and it was tasty too. Was it worth the trek out? Probably not.

I just posted a review for the other Seven Wonders but it was meant to be for this one in the CHQ building. I’m sure they are both great — but it is this one is CHQ that I go to. Always worth the long queue at lunch time — which the very friendly staff always get through with great efficiency!

I never got myself to try out Seven Wonders in the Mayor Square area because of how crowded it always looks, but his place was empty when I walked in. CHQ is always empty, so that wasn’t particularly unusual. I ordered a Hawaiian Chicken Bagel and an Americano. They were both delicious and flavourful! I’ve never been a bagel fan, but this place is making me reconsider that. They also seem to take pride in their coffee and have Aeropress and Pour Over/filter coffees as well. Since I was just in the mood for an Americano, I didn’t try anything else, but I sure will, when I come back.
