Perfect place for a treat on a warm day. Excellent and extensive choice of toppings. You can also order pre made combinations. The Ferraro sauce is just amazing.

I’m sure children absolutely love this place as they have 1000 selections apparently. My family and I were so excited about this place we took a drive there especially. I had a cone with 3 toppings and my daughter had the oreo madness ice-cream which was enough for two. Everything was sticky and unfortunately there are no hand-wash facilities which was a bit disappointing for me. The queue was very long but moved quite fast, that is until it got to me and i couldn’t choose. I’m not too enthusiastic about sweets and jellies and things like that but there were enough options of fudge and white chocolate buttons. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The other good thing about Scrumdiddlys is that the beach of Donabate is quite nearby so we were able to walk it all off.

Who can beat a good scoop of Oreo ice cream in the summer? Scrumdiddly’s can. They’ve taken Oreo ice cream to a whole new level with the Oreo extreme. It’s vanilla soft serve, Oreo ice cream, melted Oreos and chocolate sauce topped with more vanilla soft serve and a whole Oreo — for € 5. You may be waiting in queue for 10 minutes and you should probably skip breakfast, lunch and dinner if you want to finish this gem, but it’s more delicious than it even sounds.

There are a few disappointed reviews on here and I think I know why: Scrumdiddly’s is not, contrary to the name, really about the ice cream — it’s about the toppings. Understand that, and that you’re in for basically a posh and delicious McFlurry(in no way a bad thing) and you’re laughing. Go mad piling your sundae with sauces and sweets and sprinkles — but if the ice cream itself is the main attraction for you, you want somewhere like Murphy’s Irish Ice Cream. I like both!

I was really excited to come here. Like, I mean REALLY excited. Like realising Game of Thrones Season 5 had just been leaked online excited. The queue was huge but from what I had heard about this place it was to be expected. But in fairness to the staff the queue moved pretty quick considering. I looked at the giant sundae type things they had on the wall. There was one which was called a Snicker Bocker Glory. It sounded incredible, indulgent and so wrong. I had to have it. I was with my cousin and her young daughter and I have to say the staff are pretty amazing. Super patient with everyone including the indecisive chislers. I got my Snicker Bocker Glory which had fresh whipped ice cream, Snickers ice cream, caramel sauce and bits of Snickers going through it. I have to say I was left pretty underwhelmed. I thought the plain whipped ice cream which seems to be their staple was pretty bland. The Snickers ice cream was again not what it should be. I think I had maybe 6 or 7 spoonfuls until I actually gave up. Maybe an off day for the ice cream makers? I dunno. But based on what I got I probably wont be back. The 3 would probably be a 2 if it weren’t for the deadly staff, they really are great.

Was very excited to try this place! Got there and the menu was great with so many choices and sweet treats! my bf got the banoffe waffle, he was immediately disappointed when the waffle was only reheated & not made fresh! it also didn’t help that there is a chipper next door so even with all the sweets and ice cream, all you can smell was that! Every bite he had he tasted battered sausage! I just got a tub with fudge pieces, marshmallows and snickers sauce! Sounds amazeballs but tastes like… eh now how do I put this nicely«pony» Also I have tasted much better ice cream(it just wasnt creamy enough) so overall experience was very disappointing! What ever happened to the good old conventional 99! 2015 return of the 99 and green sauce!

Are you looking for the best ice cream in Dublin County? Scrumdiddly’s is the first choice! The«coffee volcano» is my favourite.

An ice cream parlour every parent/carer uses to bribe their children in Donabate. The usual whipped vanilla is always on the go and they have a special menu of scrummy tubs(the scrummy Eton mess, Oreo madness, etc) for less than € 5. The service is always friendly no matter how busy they are and they are so patient with all(even the indecisive) children for their scrummy tubs which is their soft serve with choice of 3 candy toppings and syrup.(Note: as a minder who is very mindful of how much sugar intake is given they listen when I say to give a small measure!) they have this special melted ferrer rocher mix, cookies mix, and other stuff to mix in(like mooch ice creams) that takes the ice cream to another level. Try all of them. My favorite combo is the whipped ice cream with crushed Oreo, strawberries and strawberry syrup. Ask them to fill it up to the middle put the toppings on, then fill with more ice cream and add more toppings. Trust me. You won’t be disappointed. I really love this place as the owners are always super friendly and truly love and appreciate all their customers big or small. The married pair listen to their customers and love their job. They just opened a new venue in Dun Laogharie and I wish them all the success. Such lovely, hard working people who deserve every blessing. Tip: friend or like them on Facebook to keep an eye on special ice cream inventions they create. I’d be 5 pounds lighter if they weren’t so freaking good and closeby!
