I’m not sure about Jo’s experience, but I’ve always found that if you’re sick, they’ll see you. Now I’ve never gone there for a regular check up(eek maybe I should!). However, quite a few times I’ve rang up and gotten an appointment on the same day and a sick cert to prove to work I wasn’t just hungover! Take that! I’ve only been to one of the doctors in the clinic, Dr Ciara O’Shea, but she’s always super friendly and helpful. It’s always comforting when the doctor is comforting and I know it’s just a mental thing, but I always start to feel better as soon as I’ve seen the doctor!

It will no doubt shock my friends to know I have never had to go to the doctor with any part of my anatomy stuck in an electrical appliance of any sort in the past, such proud moments I am leaving to my son who will at some point decide try on the potato pot just to see if it will fit… Fortunately or unfortunately for myself and family(excluding cat) we are regulars at the clinic, particularly since the arrival of our son. The doctors are great — Ciara and Regina have looked after us treating everything from kidney stones(do not get né started on this, it was horrendous!) to suspected meningitis — one of the scariest things we as parents have yet encountered. For sure you will have to wait — even though you have an appointment, but the care received and the relief afterwards is usually worth it!

Ok time for a disclaimer: I haven’t been to see a doctor at this clinic, so I can’t vouch for the quality or otherwise of the GPs at this clinic. I merely wanted to pass on a word of warning to fellow potential patients — they currently have a waiting time of about four weeks for an appointment, and they aren’t accepting new patients at the moment. So if you urgently need to see a doctor, don’t try this place. Or if you want to make this your new GP(and there are four doctors at this practice) make sure you book an appointment well in advance.
