So much YES for Rasoi. A local Dublin pal recommended Rasoi for a chill Monday(bank holiday) dinner in… as I was hosting at our airbnb, it made most sense for me to order. Flashes of terrible Indian delivery experiences came upon me(looking at you LONDON, pre-Deliveroo)…but I persevered. Rasoi was FLAWLESS. Not just the food(which was excellent) but the service and delivery was ONPOINT as well. Not a bug or glitch to be found, perfection. They have an excellent online ordering system where you are able to pre-order as well — mega points as I was able to sort the order before a few work calls I had to take and then it arrived a few minutes after our guests. EASY! It’s truly one of the best homegrown online delivery portals I’ve seen(meaning, organic to the website — not a Deliveroo/Just East, etc). Well done Rasoi, figuring ish out! And the food was met with«ooooooommmmmmmms» all around, so I think its safe to say if you need some Indian takeaway in your life, don’t feel like leaving your flat, dig garlic and coriander naan and generally love living life in an easy, well-fed fashion — you are going to like this spot. Like it indeed. Easy 5 stars! I might eat some leftovers for breakfast now!

I should have updated this ages ago but Rasoi serves consistently delicious Indian food. This is our go to takeaway spot for a lazy Sunday meal and we love everything from the Butter Chicken, to the Paneer Lababdar and of course the Chicken Tikka Masala. Their coriander, garlic, and onion naan is also tasty. For those not wanting as heavy of a meal, the Tandoori Chicken under their Rasoi Lite section is also pretty nice.

When you’re craving Indian, this place will not disappoint! Fantastic flavor, authentic dishes, great portions. This place is one of our go-tos for delivery. Where so many other places fall short, Rasoi delivers… and they literally only deliver. Absolutely love the Tikka Masala: Lots of flavor, not overly spicey, perfectly moist chicken. Their Nan bread and Kurkuri Tarkari(battered and fried veggies) are fantastic. Good sized portions, we always have leftovers for another dinner so the value is particularly awesome. Delivery is fast, too. I do wish there was a bit more chicken/meat pieces in the curries, seems a bit sparse considering the size of the container, it’s mostly sauce.

I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews. I’m still wondering if somehow we received our delivery from the wrong place, based on the multitude of great reviews. We ordered from Rasoi last night. We decided on the Saffron tasting menu because we wanted to try several things. For the curries we ordered Lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken Tikka Masala. The Rogan Josh was watery and abnormally red, like food coloring red. I’ve had Rogan Josh in other Indian restaurants before and have made it myself and based on that I believe it should be thick, velvety, and sumptuously spiced. This was runny and only hot, otherwise bland. The lamb was of good quality so I have to give them that. The chicken tikka was so sweet it tasted like dessert. I had to add salt and garlic powder for it to be edible. Again, maybe this was a bad night or something but I was really excited for this food based on the reviews and my boyfriend and I were really disappointed. The naan was lovely and the delivery time was short and the order was completely correct so I have no qualms on that front. Overall I don’t plan on ordering from here again. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the flavors were completely off.

Went to Rasoi for the first time yesterday on a recommendation. Ordered by phone for collection. Lovely friendly staff. Food was very good and they’re not afraid to make it spicy! Indian takeaways are so often disappointing so am delighted to have found this. Will be back!

This is my one place I go to every week. Simple menu with the top dishes you’d expect from an Indian restaurant. Always seems to be the same lady working at the counter. She is really sweet even when there is a huge line inside. Chicken Tikka is excellent and the Naan bread is always freshly made. The portions are very well sized and one dinner could do two people. Never have to wait more than 15 minutes from when I order to when I walk out the door. It is take out only which is fine as their location is really convenient for Ranelagh/Rathmines residents.

Excellent Indian takeaway in Dublin! This happens to be my coworkers’ favorite«I don’t have time to cook» option, so I swung by while in town on business. It’s hard to find Indian that hasn’t been fussed with to fit European/American taste buds. And that makes me sad, because I want the *real* stuff. These guys are cooking up some seriously delicious, real Indian food. If you like your sauces mild and sweetened, get lost. I got a Vindaloo at this joint that was spicy, and flavorful, and rich, and just the way it should be. Keep it up Rasoi, I’ll be back!

Absolutely my favourite Indian take away at the moment. We’ve been through a few recently and Rasoi has them all beaten on price, taste and staff who seem genuinely happy to have your business. Delivery is always fast — we’ve never had to wait more than 40 minutes(and it’s usually much less). Highly recommended!

I’ve been back to Rasoi several times now, and I must admit that I’ve become addicted to the friendly staff(who often wave to me as I go by on the sidewalk), the solid dishes, the extra effort for presentation, and most of all, the«early bird» specials that they’ve introduced. It typically includes a starter, rice, and main dish(to which I add their freshly-made naan), and it runs around € 10. Great value for what usually makes 2 – 3 meals for me. Given all of these factors, I’ve added a star and feel lucky to have them right in the center of Ranelagh.

Was very impressed at the quality and flavour of food. It’s definitely the best Indian takeaway I have had to date. Once you try here no where else will do. .
