History

Established in 2005.

Open Architects was founded in 2005 by architects Claire McManus and Majella Stack at La Catedral artists studios off Thomas Street.

The practice has since moved to offices at 97 Morehampton Road in Donnybrook and has grown to include architect graduates Colin Tourish, Petra Zdrahalova, Kenny Murphy and Borja Lavín

Business Owner

Claire McManus is from Roscrea, Co. Tipp. She moved to Dublin in 1999 to study architecture in UCD. She has travelled extensively, working in architecture in Switzerland and Australia. She returned to Ireland and founded up Open Architects with Majella Stack in 2005
