I didn’t have high expectations for this location, since I had been to the Obriens off Harcourt Street, and HATED my sandwich. But, I was in a pinch, and needed something quick…
Behold, Obriens off Charlemont. The ladies working here are stupendous! I ordered basically the most complicated sandwich ever, and they nailed it! So much so, that I’ve been back every day for the rest of the week. The sandwich I love was consistent every single day, and so was the service!
The team here has a great work ethic, and I think are proud of the products they deliver. If they’re not, they should be. This makes all the difference between their shop and the many others across the city and within less than a mile!
The shop also has a ton of great side items like a million different crisps, sweets, and Sexy Pop!
If you’re a fan of spice, be sure to get Dijon mustard and their red jalapeños — so good!

A nice O’Brien’s that’s run by two lovely girls who welcome you with a friendly smile.
The bagels are yum — the toasted plain bagel was just what I needed this morning. And only 1.50 EUR. Not too shabby.
The coffee is not bad either.
They are quick at serving and getting your food /​drink to you. Which is handy when you are late for work — eek!
