Alan Conneally — C.E.O.

Having established Netblock in 1998 after selling Softnet to IBM, Alan has steered the company from a meer fledgling to become Ireland’s leading Internet filtering Company. Graduating with an honours degree in I.T. from Dublin City University in 1984 he received his doctorate from Trinity college Dublin in 1986. Alan attributes his success to the invaluable experience he gained as head of software testing at Nortel networks. He continues to pioneer web filtering technologies from the company R&D headquarters in Dublin.
