Mizzoni’s Pizza and Pasta

I’ve always been a fan of Mizzoni’s pizza’s, probably the best for takeaway in the area. However last night was a disaster. My wife ordered a delivery from here last evening (using the on-​line system), after 1hr 10mins waiting she called and was shouted at by the representative. We have used this Mizzoni’s before for delivery, so the details have never changed. yet they claimed we had given them wrong phone number and they couldn’t find the address.
When the food eventually arrived, the pizza was fine, but the cheesy chips were congealed. The gloss was taken off the experience by the treatment of my wife and I was truly disappointed.
The previous experiences and the food warrant 3.5 stars, but docked this time for service!

For my money, Mizzoni does the best delivery pizza in town, and its garlic dip is second to none.
I also like the fact that it stands up to the bigger guys and comes off on top. Started by the Mizzoni family in 1959, it’s an Irish/​Italian success story that could bring a tear to your eye as you munch through your chicken dippers.
Oh, and on the weekends, it stays open until 3am, perfect for drunk dialling.
