History
Established in 1998.
Marr Construction was founded by Philip Marr in October 1998 and has undertaken many successful projects since its inception.
Philip Marr graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Bolton street, having studied Construction Technology for four years.
Philip has gained experience working with both Swiss and Norwegian building companies who specialised in Timber Construction and refurbishment work.
Prior to setting up Marr Construction, Philip worked closely with F Barrett & Co. (now Barrett Solar ltd) undertaking solar photo voltaic (PV) installations for clients such as Donegal County Council and the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Board. These pioneering installations in Ireland have provided reliable marine navigation systems and from these projects has helped in the creation of the Irish Solar Energy Association thus allowing solar to enter into the domestic market.
