I’ve only been in here a few times even though its not far from me. It has been renovated in the last few years but they must have run out of money because they didn’t do up the toilets… Yuk
Still, it’s not the worst pub I’ve ever been in.

This place used to be known as the Maj among locals as far as ii can remember, maybe they were trying to forge the stupid name that it has already i suppose its ore likely that they wanted to just abbreviate it but still, what a stupid name! nothing magic about the carpets in this place! infact there si nothing magic about this place full stop!
i suppose is okay if you live in the aea and just wanted to go in for a drink or maybe you dont have sky sports at home and there si a football match ou would like to see.
going here for a night out? forget about it, you can do much better!

The Magic Carpet, where everyone knows your name.
Great little pub. Come in, grab a vodka and splash and head out the back on a friday night for some buzz. Usually live music too (which is usually dire so another reason to go out the back)
Recently done up so lost alot of the atmosphere it once had which is a shame but it’s still a great buzz, especially for pre-​town/​club drinks.

The Tragic carpet… nope, not a typo. If you are a local and looking for a drink, go to dunes and then go home to where it is comfortable and warm and the floors are not sticky… well, less so anyway
