Leeson Laundry

Been here twice and have no complaints. They were pretty fast and clothes come back clean. The only caveat I have to say is that I haven’t been anywhere else so I don’t really have other laundry places to compare to.

Having recently moved I let the laundry get a little behind… Had a brainwave to get a serviced wash, popped onto Unilocal and bam, 10mins later I’m in the car hitting up this place.
Busy laundry shop, they do the full range of services, dry cleaning, serviced washing, alterations, etc. Brought a large black bag in and not in a hurry so I was happy with a 2 day turnaround which came in at € 20. We did inquire how best to estimate cost of service in the future, as we had quite a bit of stuff and mixed washes, they happily explained its down to the amount of washing machines needed to do the load… Which was nice of them to explain. Overall € 20 was still great value given the large amount I dropped off, I’d definitely consider the service again for the usual bedding/​towels and maybe the dreaded return from holiday washing that seems to never end! The clothes were returned, washed, dried and folded, my only negative was the folding could have been better, I dread the iron so usually dry and fold my clothes so they don’t need an iron, unfortunately will have to take an iron to a few things so that would be my word of advice, just a little more love on the folding and it would have been 5 star all the way ;-)

Leeson Laundry offers an efficient, good quality laundry service at a reasonable price.
I use them quite frequently as thy’re in a handy location to where I live.
I get the standard wash and dry which costs € 15 for a full, large bag of washing.
There is dry cleaning available as well as an ironing service but I’ve haven’t used either so I can’t comment on them.
Bonus point for their vast collection of antique metal advertising signs. They must have over fifty of them on display mostly showing soap and washing powder ads from the 19^th and early 20^th Century. It gives you something to look at when your waiting for laundry bag.

Had a bag of laundry done here while staying at the nearby Doubletree. Same-​day service; dropped off at 800a and picked up just before 300p. 14 Euro for a plastic laundry bag filled with about a week’s worth of clothes for two people, and we didn’t have to do it ourselves! Friendly service. Dry cleaning available too.
