Kilronan House

WOW The customer service here was 100% ON POINT!!! The concierge was absolutely AMAZING here!!! He parked our car, put our luggage upstairs (we were on the top floor) AND he woke us up at 4am the day we had to leave!
Oh and did I mention you get FREE breakfast with your stay?!! Yes, thats right — free and its AMAZING!!!
The house is very lit at night and nicely decorated exterior. The rooms are all upstairs and some are shared bath rooms — our room was on the very top floor which was a bit of a trek after a day of drinking but it was worth it. The shower had the best water pressure!!!
The bed was extremly comfortable, pillows were perfect, TV and Wifi both perfect and no noise from outside could be heard. It was also the perfect room temp in our room so we didnt have to adjust any heat or anything!
The house is located about a block from St Stephens Green and was the perfect place to stay in Dublin as we didnt want to worry about driving or taking public transport.
I had an amazing stay here and I am still impressed by the concierge… he IS so great!
I highly recommend staying here on your next venture to Dublin — I met locals who were staying here too so I know it’s a pretty legit place to stay and we truly enjoyed it so I know you will too.

Spent 1 night here. The location is perfect– right near St Stephen’s Green and within walking distance to all top attractions while being located on a beautiful tree-​lined Georgian street. Our double room en-​suite was spacious and as clean as it could be. Unfortunately, I have horrible allergies and the carpets made for one rough-​nights sleep (itchy eyes, watery nose and coughing all night). They also provide parking, which is wonderful considering we had a rental car. Breakfast was delicious and substantial for a day of sight-​seeing. All-​in-​all, the location is wonderful, room spacious, breakfast great but I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have dust allergies.

Was für ein süßes Bed & Breakfast! Beim CheckIn wurde mir gleich erstmal ein Tee angeboten, bevor ich dann ins Nachbarhaus geleitet worden bin. Bei diesen alten B&B ist es nicht unüblich, dass es eine Toilette an der Treppe gibt, die von 2,3 Zimmern gemeinschaftlich genutzt wird. Ich hatte zwar so ein Zimmer gebucht, aber wurde anscheinend upgegraded, da ich mein eigenes Klo hatte ;) Dies wird übrigens auch auf deren Website erklärt, also kann sich keiner beschweren, dass man nicht davon wusste… Ein Fahrstuhl gibt es nicht, also wenn man nicht so gut zu Fuß ist, am Besten gleich bei der Buchung sagen. Das Zimmer war klein, aber hat absolut seinen Zweck erfüllt. Das Riesenbett war klasse und die Matratze mit der von einem sehr guten Hotel zu vergleichen. In diesem Nachbarhaus gibt es im Erdgeschoss einen gemütlichen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Stil, genauso wie im Hauptgebäude, wo man sich zu einer gemütlichen Tassse Tee hinsetzen kann. Beim Frühstück hat man die Wahl zwischen Obst und Yoghurt, Pfannkuchen, Porridge, Rührei und einem Full English Breakfast. Ich hab mir hier wohlgefühlt, die Angestellten waren nett, das Bett gut, die Atmosphäre gemütlich und das Frühstück hat geschmeckt.

I felt so at home in this nice B&B. Every evening when I arrived back at the Kilronan I was offered a cup of tea/​coffee and a friendly chat. There is a welcoming sitting room where one can visit with others who happen to be there, or just relax. My room was nice, the bathroom modern. Breakfast was very good, served by attentive waiters. It is only a short walk to the park and most museums, churches, and theaters in Dublin

Excellent value, location, staff, breakfast. Room temperature warm and cozy. Bedding clean. Breakfast is excellent and served from a menu to your table. Wonderful bed and breakfast in heart of Dublin. Glad we listened to Eyewitness Dublin guidebooks and trip advisors high rating. I would love to visit on my next trip.
