Completely over rated. Have been twice for breakfast and for lunch small portions, sausages were terrible came on a cold plate. The sandwich at lunch time is good value for just over € 6 but the staff in here are so rude we find they are the same In Paulies had to ask twice for my water to be filled twice. We love the pizzas from Paulies but get them for take away because just don’t find the experience of dining in comfortable and the staff put us right off!

Juniors is the cutest little café! They have a gorgeous patio with warm woolen blankets all set up for you, and the service is so genuine and friendly that it makes you want to come back again and again. As for the food, everything on the menu is super fresh and delicious. They have a popular to-go option that’s just biscuits and jam and coffee and you can tell that lots of locals come to take advantage of this delicious morning treat as they head out to work. I will absolutely be back as soon as possible.

Have been here for brunch on a lazy Sunday and for dinner and both times it was amazing. The staff is always friendly and help you out. The place is small, but cozy in a good way. Food is always good. Favorites are the pancakes! A must try for sure.

We came here for dinner with some friends with high expectations thanks to all of the great reviews here. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the same experience many others seemed to have. The space is very tight and crowded. The service was good– no complaints there. The food just wasn’t memorable, at all. I think my dinner was a special, cannelloni. The edges of the pasta were burnt to the point that you had to eat around it. My husband even asked me what the«dark colored» stuff was– just burnt pasta. It just wasn’t at all what I was expecting– the texture of the rest of the dish was very mushy. It wasn’t satisfying at all. Perhaps my expectations were too high or I didn’t order the right thing.

By far the best local restaurant in Dublin! If you’re looking for something fresh, healthy and made with love — come to this place! Everything on their menu will put a smile on your face and in your belly! I have been to this restaurant over a dozen times and I have yet to be disappointed. The level on consistency these guys have is unbeatable. Their service is extremely friendly and welcoming. The servers are very aware of their tables. I never have to wait for anything because there’s always someone there to help! The tables are always clean and so is the environment. They are working from an open kitchen and you can see how organized and clean they are from the inside as well. I have had over half their menu by now and it is all spot on! The flavors are absolutely amazing! They have anything from spicy to sweet and salty if you’re craving it! It’s all healthy and fresh! My favorite is the portions, I always leave full! Basically — you can’t go wrong! Try it out.

Love this little spot! Staff are so friendly and helpful. Recommend having the specials they have on. They are always as good as they sound I’m a huge fish lover and there is always a tasty fish dish. So for any fellow fish fanatics it is a must go! If it is a hot day have they’re homemade lemonade. It’s FABulous and oh so refreshing! And it gets better in the winter. They have hot water bottles and blankets!!! What more could you want then to snuggle up with good company and good food with a class of wine in hand!

I came here on a lazy Sunday morning brunch with some friends and had a great time. Really prompt service too. I got myself«The Mexican» which is basically eggs with a spicy Mexican sauce, guac, and sour cream. I thought it was really good although a bit too greasy. I also ordered some orange juice and coffee and they were both very good. My friend got crab cakes and a Mississippi Mud Pie(pictured here) and judging by his clean plate, I would guess he enjoyed his meal too.

I had eyed this place for breakfast or brunch a few times but never managed to get in and no wonder — it’s fab. Finally made it with a booking for a Saturday brunch with a friend, the service is lovely and you don’t have to wait long for your food either. Huge portions — our table for two could hardly hold the plates, sauces and teapots… I was really happy with my falafel wrap and definitely want to go again to give the eggs a try, too. Don’t be turned off by not being able to get a spot on short notice, just plan ahead and book, it’s worth it!

I really like Juniors — it’s a consistent good time, and they seem to be open most Bank Holidays. I’ve only been for brunch, but this past weekend was my third visit so that’s a pretty solid endorsement. The best thing I’ve ordered has been the huevos rancheros(which they may have taken off the menu?) but I’ve also had the crab cakes benedict(solid flavour, good hollandaise but overall not that inventive of a dish) and the yogurt parfait(light and tasty, but they use frozen fruit instead of fresh). Staff are friendly, prices are really reasonable, and they make me a legit iced coffee when I requested one. Anything to beat this 60-some-odd degree heat ;)

Bit surprised by the rave reviews to be honest, but let’s start from the beginning. This place is the sister restaurant of the famed Paulie’s pizza around the corner. That in mind, I expected a similar experience to pleasant dining experiences at Paulie’s. Well, for starters, this place is a lot smaller. We came here because Paulie’s was full and were told by staff juniors was also an Italian restaurant. So it is. However, the menu was much less extensive, quite limited in fact, and there were no pizzas on the menu at all. I could be wrong, but it seemed like the prices were slightly dearer too, but I can’t be sure about that. So, the food. My friend and I both ordered the Cannelloni, with spinach and ricotta. It was good. That said, I’m not a big eater and get full quite quickly. I found the serving wasn’t fulfilling, and that included two ‘rows’ of cannelloni with a serving of green salad on the side. Still felt hungry when done and that for the generous price of 17 €. I’m happy to pay that for dinner, but I would expect to be full afterwards! The décor: was pretty minimal. Nothing that stood out. Staff: after initial service, the staff did come round a few times to refill our water which was quite nice, but after a time they seemed to turn their back on us and didn’t pay attention to our table, making it hard to get their attention. The servers were friendly enough, just not very attentive. Overall impression: this place was OK. I wouldn’t hurry back here. Given the choice of the two, I’d definitely opt for Paulie’s over juniors, not to mention there are some other nice options around, such as chophouse, the old spot and others.

I have been going to Juniors for lunch year in, year out. But with so many additional lunch spots in the area my visits have become less and less. Shame on me, because I do love their massive sambo’s, big bowls of soup and original mixed salads. Also, service has gotten a lot faster since they do table service now — rather than queueing for ages to order/pay. On a weekday, definitely come at 12 on the dot, if you want a seat. Otherwise you might be waiting a long time. On today’s visit I went for the Coronation chicken(€ 6.75), I think it’s the newest sambo added to the menu, as I hadn’t seen it before. What came to the table, was a monster of sambo(see photo). It was the same size as a small(or big?) baby. I don’t know how I did it, but I polished it all off. Every.single. breadcrumb. GONE. yum!

Sunday noon, looking for a brunch without reservation as usual. We tried a couple of places with no success and finally entered this little and nice restaurant. The menu is great, quite original(not only irish breakfast and pancakes), and the place is cool. We were absolutely not disapointed :-) I took«the mexican» which is a kind of ratatouille with eggs and spicy sauce directly served in the pan. Portions are quite big and it is very tasty. The best point is the service. These guys are professional, quick and so nice even if the place is crowdy! I think I will definitely go to this place more often!

I think they messed up with today’s creation… It’s soooo good I don’t think they can get any better. The lamb sandwich special is an absolute taste explosion and goes down as my favorite sandwich Ever…

This is the most amazing restaurant in Dublin. The food is top notch — some of the Michelin restaurants we’ve dined at in the Isles don’t compare. Also, Clare and Miranda are the most bubbly and kind people ever!!! Don’t miss out on this amazing gem.

These guys have really upped their brunch game recently! Maybe it’s because farmer Browns is so close by. Having been unable to get a table in FB we went for brunch to juniors. The coffee as always was delicious. We had a huge jug of home made lemonade. Not too sweet. Not too tart., perfect for a hangover. I had corn fritters and chicken. It was absolutely amazing. And I’ve had the corn fritters in Kai in galway. We shared some chocolate dessert thing. Can’t remember the details but it was very tasty. Although a bite was plenty after such a filling main. I will definitely be back again!

So, I hadn’t been to Juniors in years and we decided to go again. We had tried a few times without a reservation but no luck as it tends to be busy. If anything, it was better than I remembered. The staff were very efficient and friendly. We split the prawn starter which was nice if not a tiny bit plain. For a main, we had the duck, which was the special for the night… all I could say was WOW! It was the best duck I have ever had — perfectly cooked with just the right seasoning. I’d suggest they add it to the menu full time, as I’d definitely go for it again! Overall, it was good value(the wine was on the steep side) and I will be back again!

Ah Juniors! It’s been a few years, but I have finally been able to make it to you shores again. I love the feeling here — it really is like something from the Sopranos — the Italian/American Diner feel, right down to the menu board in the indoorsy/outdoor area to the front. Staff are friendly and really efficient. Love the cutlery holders, bottles of water and the blankets on each seat for when it gets nippy in the outdoorsy area — They don’t take bookings due to the small size of it presumably, so it can be hit and miss with getting a table. The good news is that EVERYTHING on the menu is available to take away, so you can still eat happy! The soya latte was delicious and creamy and the BLT was really amazing. It had a unique charcoal flavour to the ciabatta, which I would love to see replicated in other places. Also, the tomato was slightly warmed, so it wasn’t a bit soggy. The ham and Swiss cheese croissant was to die for, and I don’t care how many calories it had! Great for breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner heads, food on the go heads, and I wanna feel like Tony Soprano when I eat my lunch and drink my tiny cup of espresso heads!

Love it! Breakfast is awesome, brunch is awesome, dinner — read other reviews but I think it’s awesome 3 girls, different taste buds and everyone was happy, service was quick and extremely friendly — I usually go to farmer Browns around the corner but I can see myself switching it here and then :)

A friend of mine claimed he had a craving for junior’s. I had never been before so we decided to wonder in for Saturday brunch. Unfortunately the place was full, but the staff were lovely and took our number and offered to call us when the first table became available — which they did 15 minutes later. Seated on the overly Christmas decorated terrace we both ordered steak sandwiches. I was pleasantly impressed with how well cooked it was. After the main I asked for a recommendation for desert: I was told the cheesecake would be a great choice and it was!

Having worked around the corner from Juniors for months, I was shocked that I’d never popped in before, or heard my colleagues talking about it! I’d seen all of the Unilocal hype so went in on Thursday to scope the place out! First of all, did anyone else notice how the waiters are unreal Craic? Literally joking and having the banter with us all night(thumbs to to the hiring manager)! Another thing I love here is the cosy, Intimate atmosphere! The restaurant is quite small, so we sat out in the covered terrace. We even had blankets to wrap around us while we ate which was incredibly cute(not that we needed them, there must be some outdoor heating going on!) As for the food, it was as good as I expected! Our starter was the special: antipasti platter with bread! The bread was amazing, like seriously crusty and chargrilled tasting, and the cold meats were good too. You can’t go wrong with an old antipasti can you though? I’m a fish lover so I opted for the hake with mussels for my main, while my other half went for the stew. My fish was cooked to perfection and came with spuds and a lovely thin sauce. There is nothing worse than a piece of fish that is downed in a thick sauce. That doesn’t fly with me! The only thing that disappointed me here was the dessert. We went for the chocolate peanutbutter cake. I mean, it was good, but it LOOKED like it was going to taste better. It was a little too sweet for me but the fellah enjoyed it none the less! I will defiantly be coming back here to try more of the starters and mains though! Well done Juniors, 4 stars for you!
