I just had one of the worst retail experiences of my life in The Laura Ashley section of House of Fraser. I was dealt with by a very rude and unprofessional lady. I am amazed at how bad service can be in such a store. Disappointed to say the least.

It certainly pays to shop around and surprised that HOF was cheaper cheaper by far for the same jacket compared to BT or Arnotts. Staff very friendly and not pushy nor do they pounce like a cat on prey. They have everything you could need from homeware to designer brands and we’ll layed out.

Popped in to get my toddler fitted for shoes today. Had a bit of a wait but an ultra helpful young female staff member from the shoe area kindly measured her and was super helpful in fitting and advising. Old fashioned good service does it for me every time. Home wares staff equally good. I have found the ladies shoe/accessories staff unhelpful on a number of occasions but as solid four as my toddler romped home happy in new shoes this evening.

THE best place to shop in Dundrum. Nice merchandise, good quality and friendly, efficient service. When the sales are on it can get a bit messy but you will quickly overlook that when you score a great bargain! Great shoes and accessories, clothes for the whole fam — and I adore their housewares selection — oh and I really like the stationary/gifty stuff right before the kids department on level 3 — oh and the café is great as well. Certainly worth a visit!

I was here trying many many evening dresses and I found the staff to be nothing but extremely helpful. One was very good at taking photos of me, positioning me this way and that, to get the perfect photo of me in their wares. Walking around the womens clothing department, there appears to be something for every taste, every age group. A bit on the pricey side, but everything I tried on was good stock and good quality. Recommended.

House of Fraser is one of the flagship stores in Dundrum Town Centre. It occupies three floors and the basement. Menswear as is often the case is consigned to the basement but it seems to be well organised and well stocked. Cosmetics, women’s accessories, shoes and underwear occupy the ground floor. Womenswear is the first floor and homewear is on the second floor. Good selection of clothes in varying price ranges and they often have excellent sales. I’ve picked up a number of bargains over the years. The homewear section also has a good range and excellent sales. If I’m being picky I think the shoe department sales assistants aren’t the best. Even if they’re not busy it’s hard to get their attention which is in complete contrast to a well known shoe shop also in the Town Centre who are overly helpful and attentive.

Today I wanted to buy a perfume so I went to house of Fraser in Dundrum. Very disappointed buy the ground floor, I was standing at the Chanel area not attended for at least five minutes and none of the personnel told me anything, maybe the shop assistant was on her lunch, but I wanted to buy I product that at the end I bought in Boots! Where the service was very good! A sale less for the Chanel stand in House of Fraser! I didn’t like the treatment I have to say so if you have to buy an expensive perfume go somewhere else where you’ll be attended! Completely different story when i went up to the clothing department, the shop assistant in Mary Portas was very helpful, the clothes really innovative but very portable, I was assisted in a great way and i really recommend shopping there! I didn’t want to buy anything but at the end i bought something! Thank you for the pleasant shopping experience!

Review on Clinique counter. I wandered in here as I was lost — often happens in Dundrum Shopping Centre… and as for the Car Park! I was early for the cinema and drifted towards the the Clinique counter as I wanted to buy some of their soap. € 67 later I had bought a lipstick, lipstick liner and eye liner. Reason! Free gift when you spend over € 30 so bought the other bits so I could get 2 free gifts good news they also had a € 5 off when spending over € 60. I was quite happy.

Fancy-schmancy cosmetics counters on the first floor, with all the big brands represented. When I visited, some were manned by eager looking ladies, while others were bereft of sales staff. Score! I headed to the empty ones for some quick tester sampling, before going upstairs to check out the clothes. Brands include Lee, Miss Selfridge, Firetrap and be sure to drop into Topshop, where one of the sales guys looks just like an Irish Russell Brand.
