Hamburger Bar

I’ve previously had good experiences with this place, but I was left less than impressed when I went there recently.
I fancied a bit of nose-​bag, and I was too far from Raheny to avail of the delicious Macari’s, so the Hamburger Bar it had to be. I didn’t want too many chips really, so I ordered a batter sausage and a spice burger, on the understanding that when you purchase one of the above items, any half decent chipper will throw a few chips in while they’re at it.
Apparently, the Hamburger Bar don’t fall into the category above, as they failed to throw in a single chip (even though I’d bought TWO items that would typically come with a few chips thrown in). And the batter sausage was rubbery and failed to split down the middle. And frankly, I’ve had more satisfying spice burgers. And the service took forever (even though there was only one other customer in the shop when I got there).
Sorry to get all negative on you, Unilocal,but my last visit to the Kilbarrack/​Bayside area left me rather embittered. I’ll not leave Raheny ever again, promise.
