How long is too long to wait at a bank? I was in Halifax today hoping to make a withdrawal from my savings account and I stood in line for twenty minutes. Twenty minutes when I was there at 12.30pm to miss the lunchtime rush! That’s too long I think.
In fairness, a lady did come over to see if she could help me but no, I’ll have to wait in line. Halifax are a friendly bank, they have a purple interior and are open on Saturdays, but I don’t think they have some of the basics down yet. Like keeping the queues short and having an online facility for savings accounts.
