If you are living in D15 and doing any building or refurbishing job to your house, then Goodwins is your guardian angel. Prices are lower than branded competitors but you probably need to be little bit knowledgeable about the products. This because more than a shop focused on customer they are a building supplier where traders go there with vans and tell at the counter what they need. Hence the lower price. They don’t have sales assistants who look after you. However if you need some advice and it is quite, they surely will give you some advice.
The down side is that they charge for the delivery on local areas. They use a third party courier to deliver to your door at 40 Euro. Other builder suppliers have their own truck so they provide free delivery within a reasonable distance.
