Gallery Quay Pharmacy

This is my local pharmacy and I’m very glad of that. The proprietor and pharmacist, is one of the nicest and most helpful I’ve met. Very knowledgable. All the staff are friendly and the they have a good selection of products, despite being a small shop.

I guess you would call this my neighborhood pharmacy and neighborly it definitely is! The pharmacist and salespeople are excruciatingly friendly (in a good way) whenever I come in for a visit. A few examples: My eyes have a tendency to get dry and bloodshot so I came in here to get something. Too many products for sale often confuse me – why can’t manufacturers just make one?! – and one of the salespeople saw me looking at the many eyedrops so came over and helped me pick out a good one. Another time, I came to pickup a prescription during the big snow attack. The pharmacist was overly apologetic that they wouldn’t have it in same day. As someone who is only familiar with the big chain pharmacies in the States, getting a prescription same day is often extraordinary, so I was surprised they even tried to get it in same day. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to go here often, even if it’s just for Lemsip.
