Four Courts Hostel

Clean atmosphere. 6 mixed room. And it only ended up being a total of 3 people in the room, which was good. It was spacious.
The lobby had wifi. And a kitchen to use.
Overall a good experience — and everything was in walking distance.
Front staff was professional and nice. Even offered us brownies :)

Great hostel! Great price and everyone was super friendly who worked and stayed there. Very helpful and great tips, also good brochures on day trips, etc. Free access to computers and location literally in the middle of everything made it easy to go back and look things up during the day. Very clean and loved having an en suite bathroom. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Sehr nette Jugendgerberge. Waren als Gruppe dort und haben sehr schönte Tage dort verbracht. Liegt etwas abseits von der Innenstadt, die Partymeile Templebar ist aber dafür recht nahe!

Hot guys who work at the front desk (at night, guy with the salt and pepper hair who’s 29).
Reasonable price for the hostel, a bit far from the city centre, but they provide a lot (no towels, though you need a refundable deposit of £5 + fee of £2). The people are absolutely friendly and can tell you where to go, whether it’s the Cliffs of Moher or a day trip to Howth or the best divey pub in town (Cobblestone in Smithfield).
Once again, hot guys working at the desk! Gotta believe my word. ;)

I’ve stayed at other hostels and this one is a gem!
Clean, strong wifi, good people and GREAT staff. Everyone is eager to help you out, no attitude whatsoever.
I stayed in a private room, it was small but had everything I needed. The shower, though… They are a «green» hostel so their showers turn off every 20 seconds. Sucks but hey, that’s hostel life. Prices are super decent and the people are great. Stay here!

I really liked this hostel because it was generally clean and very comfortable to stay in. Also, it is pretty large so there’s a huge amount of people you’ll see at any given time eating or hanging out. The location is very good. only a couple blocks from the Temple Bar area. Also, they were extremely helpful when it came to organizing bus tours (I highly suggest Wicklow) and shuttles to the airport.

Une auberge tres bien situé, proche de tout, point de chute ideal pour les visites pédestre. Chambre propre sans plus. Le petit déjeuner tres simple, cereale, paim nature, beurre et confiture fraise, lait, café, chocolat. Le personnel de tres sympas à pas cool. Salle tv avec nintendo wii et salle de lecture qui sent le renfermé.

A good hostel in a prime location in Dublin. Friendly staff, beds were good and the price was right! They gave great advice on where to eat, drink and what tour to take.
Some negatives: The shower/​sink were the push variety and turned off after only a few seconds so you have to hold them down. Free internet only for the first 30min, so I am glad I brought my laptop.
All in all I would say this is a good place to stay for the price…

I was worried about staying at a hostel because my experiance with them before have been horrible, but four courts really impressed me!
The location is close to everything and yet your not crouded by the noise from temple bar, friendly staff (awesome guys), very clean, good international community staying at the hostel and overal very good.
I would advise if you want to save money and enjoy Dublin, stay here :)

Kann mich den positiven Aspekten der Vorredner nur anschließen.
Saubere Betten, nettes Personal, günstig. Magnetstreifenkarte für Zugang zum Haustüre/​Zimmer
Negative Aspekte waren bei uns (da wir in einem 12er Zimmer übernachteten) dass es nur 2 x (Toiletten, Waschbecken und Dusche) für 24 Personen gab, und andauerend andere Leute vom anschließenden 12er Zimmer durch den Raum auf dem Weg in die Toilette watschelten.
Die Dusche dort hatte keine Temperaturregelung, da diese wohl zentral von sehr heiß auf heiß im Wechsel geregelt wird.
Internet an festinstallierten PCs ist mittels Zeiterfassungssoftware gebührenpflichtig, WLAN haben wir auch keines gefunden

Das Four Courts liegt sehr zentral, direkt am Fluss und in ein paar Minuten Fußnähe zur Temple Bar! In der Umgebung gibt es zudem einige Supermärkte Man kann den ganzen Tag in der offenen Küche des Hostels kochen und morgens gibt es ein spartanisches aber eigentlich ausreichendes Frühstück. Nett ist die Jukebox und die ganze Atmosphäre im Gemeinschaftsraum — da ist immer was los! Die Hygiene auf den Zimmern ist ok, die Betten auch! Wer in Dublin eine billige Herberge sucht, ist im Four Courts richtig.

Die Herberge liegt recht zentral, man erreicht in 5 minuten Fußmarsch Temple bar, das Kneipenviertel Dublins. Täglich wird die Toilette geputzt, die allgemeine Küche für die Gäste ist sehr spartanisch, was man von jeder Herberge kennt. Es gibt kostenlosen Internetanschluss für den eigenen Laptop und Frühstück (besteht jedoch nur aus Toast und Marmelade). Das Hostel wird von eher jüngeren Menschen genutzt, auch die Herbergsleitung ist jungen Menschen überlassen, daher läuft bis abends Rockmusik auf den Gängen vor den Zimmern. Insgesamt wird dort alles sehr locker gesehen, bei Problemen kann man jedoch mit engagierten Personal sprechen. Für Weltenbummler und offene Menschen ist das Hostel genau das richtige.

This is a bright and airy youth hostel which is located in a Georgian building overlooking the River Liffey. This hostel is value for money as you get free wi-​fi access, a free tour map of Dublin and a free breakfast. The games room here is good fun and has a newish pool table and you can also play cards, darts and the game everyone loves to hate– Jenga. The only downside is that the beds are uncomfortable and the bed frames are flimsy.
